Degree in Catalan Filology by the University of Barcelona.

Mag Lari (Josep Maria Lari, Barcelona 1973) started  his magic career in 1994, following his debut in Llantiol in Barcelona. With his Degree in Catalan Filology, he does not hesitate to devote his efforts to consolidate a new way of doing magic, where the presentation is the key to success. Two awards mark his career: in the year 1995 he gets the First National Prize for Comedy Magic, which brings him to perform in France, Switzerland, Portugal and Japan and in 2002 he wins the Prize for best spectacle at the Theater of Tarrega with the show "Stars of Magic".

He has starred in several magic programs on TV3, Antena 3 and has been collaborating for two years in the program Buenafuente for La Sexta. Currently works in the program "El matte de Catalunya Radio" with Manel Fuentes.

The shows that he has released are The Magic of Mag Lari & Emmeline (1994), Magic 70 (1997) Màgiacadabra (1998), Incredible (2000), Stars of Magic (2002), Millennium (2004), Secrets (2007), Smiles and Magic (2009) and Splenda (2011). With "Pagès" editors he published The Secrets of Mag Lari, which is now in its fourth edition and The Magic of Michael Jackson. In addition, Enric Lucena has also published a book, for "Pagès" editions also, called Mag Lari,tha magic of doing magic ​​that features the best pictures of the show Splenda.

Mag Lari has been awarded the ARC Awards and two performing arts chair for Secrets and Splenda. He rediscovered the way of doing magic and has make his character and become the new exponent of magic today.
